We interrupt this regularly schedule NYCM celebrating and reflecting to ask you all for a HUGE, VERY BIG favor.
You all remember my friend, Char, right? The one who got me into triathlons, helped me heal my broken shoulder (as my PT) and ran many, many miles by my side over the last 4 years?
Yep. That’s her. Twinsies.
So then you remember this post about her THIRD BQ. The one where I was lucky enough to pace her for the last 10 miles to a 5 minute PR? And the time that I was more proud of another person than I can ever remember?
That BQ race was unfortunately not enough to get her to the starting line at Boston in 2014. BUT, as many of you have probably seen, PowerBar is giving away 10 entries to Boston Qualifiers who were shut out from this year’s race due to the time cutoff.
Soooo….that leads me to the favor. I know, I know…these things are super annoying, but this is really important to me or I wouldn’t be asking.
